Since 2003, College Excel has cultivated a close working relationship with Central Oregon Community College (COCC), where faculty and staff are welcoming to and supportive of our students.
The oldest community college in the state of Oregon, COCC offers students:
- Comprehensive educational and recreational services
- Caring and accomplished faculty, 37% of whom have their doctorate or other terminal degree
- Teacher-to-student ratio of 1-to-24
- Affordable tuition and fees
With a setting resembling a small, liberal arts college campus, COCC offers students a plethora of innovative, cutting-edge certificate and degree options.
Its award-winning Cascade Culinary Institute, brand new residential hall, and breathtaking Cascade Mountain views in nearly every direction comprise just a few aspects of COCC’s easy-to-navigate, 201-acre Bend campus.

College Excel students who wish to pursue a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Bend may apply to Oregon State University-Cascades. Our students may also take courses for credit as a part time, non-degree seeking student, which does not require a formal admission process or formal entrance requirements.
For the past decade OSU-Cascades has collaborated closely with COCC to offer upper division courses, allowing students to complete their Bachelor’s degree in Bend.
In fall 2016 OSU-Cascades opened a brand new, standalone Bend campus, serving both undergraduate and graduate students.
The first branch campus in Oregon, OSU-Cascades offers students small class sizes in an intimate setting, access to exciting, ongoing research at both OSU campuses (Bend and Corvallis), and lifelong networking opportunities.
